When I was diagnosed with a Phyllodes Tumor (a rare form of breast cancer which invades the connective tissues) at age 20, I had no idea what to do. I was terrified that I would have to go through more surgery and chemo. After the excisional biopsy, my surgeon informed me that more surgery would be necessary. Since I had such a rough time recovering from just the biopsy, I did not want to go through something like that again!
That is when I received a book from my mom called “Electrical Nutrition”, by Denie and Shelley Hiestand. This book changed my life. I immediately scheduled a consultation/healing session with Denie. What he told me to do was:
#1 Eat a very cleansing diet (which consisted of mostly berries and fruit), and drink lots of water
#2 He gave me a few specific supplements to take
#3 Discontinue use of anything in or on my body that contains un-natural substances
(this included medications, make up, personal care products, etc...)
#3 Rebounding. At least an hour a day, 2 if I could manage.
So, that’s what I did. Sometimes it was difficult not being able to eat what my friends eat, but I kept in mind that I am doing this to heal my body. I put off going back to the doctor, but when I finally went back 5 years later (I don’t recommend others wait this long!) for my follow up ultrasound, the ultrasound technician said my breast looked perfectly normal and healthy! No sign of the tumor!
Today I eat a primarily raw food diet, and continue Rebounding as a wonderfully invigorating form of exercise!
